What is Insomnia?

In particular terms, insomnia is defined as a sleep disorder that is featured by the difficulty in falling asleep at regular timing. Even if you are successful in getting sleep, it won’t last long, and the person will not be able to stay asleep for long.  There are a few symptoms that define if a person is suffering from insomnia. They are –

  • Having difficulty in falling asleep
  • Often waking up in the middle of the night
  • Trouble in falling asleep again

However, if any of these symptoms are occurring on repeat, then it may a sign of insomnia. People often get misguided by thinking that if they cannot sleep for a few nights, then it is insomnia. We would suggest the person take consultation from a health expert and then take the drug recommended for insomnia.
